Number of farmsteads: 3 (1563), 4 (1678), 5 (1858), 8 (1916), 10 (1928).

Initially it was part of the possessions of Novgorodian feudal Ondrey Pasahnov. Wandering actor and minstrel Korzhava was listed among inhabitants of that time. According to some researchers they were exactly wandering actors who brought the tradition of Russian epos to the north of Russia. In 1916 there were 44 inhabitants living in 8 farmsteads. The village herd counted 14 horses, 25 cows and 4 sheep. At that time there was a trading shop in the village. The shop belonged to the richest farmer Medvedev. He also owned one of 7 smithies of Kizhi volost. The village ceased to exist in 1950s.
